The design of this Marriage hall (Kalyanamandapam) looks beyond the built, trying to dissipate the built with a stronger abstraction derived from one of the important ritual of Typical south Indian Hindu marriage ceremony called the TALAMBRALU.
Talambralu is metaphoric to the couple's life ahead filled with happiness, prosperity and understanding. During this ritual, the bride and groom exchange garlands and then shower each other with pearls and rice mixed along with saffron and turmeric.
The façade being limited by its volume and conformities of space embodies the spirit of the celebration of marriage represented abstraction of the celebration called Talambralu
